Hi ladies. It's Thursday again.
How did everyone do this week? Any successes to celebrate? Any challenges?
This week let's all try to share a tip that is working for us and new thing we commit to doing (or not doing) this week.
Hope there is less of all of you this week!

Re: Weekly Weigh In!
I'm down 2.8 this week which I am pretty satisfied with considering we were out to dinner for our anniversary last night.
I am a tracking demon. I journal all my food and I find it really helps me.
My commitment this week is ensure I am getting 3 milk servings a day since I have been falling short here recently.
I've started using caloriecount.com to help me track how I am doing not only calorie wise but also with my nutrition levels-- I cant seem to keep my sodium levels down w/o raising my calorie count (darn ww 0 point soup and its ridiculously high levels of sodium)
I'm down 3lbs since Monday so something must be working (i.e. I'm losing my water weight--the first week of a diet is always the most encouraging for me)
My commitment this week-- eating breakfast everyday which is hard for me and getting at least 70oz of water/day
I am down 3.4 lbs this week! I had a few, okay more like 6 bad weeks b/c of traveling/work/stress, so now I am back on track.
I write everything down, even the bad stuff and that seems to make the difference. I am also getting back to the gym 4 times a week.
I am going to commit to keeping it going this week. Too many times I have a good week and then blow it the next b/c I am so happy about the good week.
Hello! I'm down 2.2lbs, bringing my total to 17.2lbs lost.
My "tip" is that I've been trying to eat out less, and that seems to be working, especially since I was sick this week and didn't get to work out. Yesterday I had to go fill my car up and was going to run through a drive thru, but I didn't--I came home and ate soup instead. That was a huge win for me.
I am struggling with drinking enough water, so I need to work on that, and as I said I didn't get much exercise in, but am going to step class tonight and will be getting back in the groove.
Good luck to everyone!
I lost 1.5 lbs last week, and it was a bit of a shocker for me. My next weigh-in is tomorrow, and while I think I feel thinner, I think the scale might not agree. I can't seem to predict my ups and downs much.
I shared before, and will share again, that my biggest challenge is trying to lose weight while being a SAHM. It's not that we have a lot of junk in our house (although we do have some), it's more that it's available to me all the time and I tend to eat when I don't know what else to do. Or when I'm avoiding laundry or cooking or something. I need to try harder to distract myself from the kitchen but it's just so hard.
My mom shared a tip with me that I haven't tried yet, but that I'm considering......she brushes her teeth when she's wanting something she doesn't need. I might brush the enamel right off my teeth if I do that, but I see where she's going with it.
I also need to work on drinking more water.

I am down 2.4 this week( I weigh in on Saturdays) for a total of 17 lbs lost.
I bring several pieces of fruit to work with me everyday, so that if I want a snack, I grab one of those. I also am tracking everything on WW etools on a daily basis.
My goal for next week(s) is to consistently make it to the gym 3-4 a week. I was on a roll for about a month and a half where I was going 5-6 times a week and then I started backsliding to 1-2 times, so 3-4 days will be great.
I have heard this before. Supposedly the mint is supposed to help. Plus who wants to eat right after brushing? I also know some people chew gum to cure a sweet tooth.
To keep myself from eating out of boredom or whatever I give myself a little task. Go get the mail, put in a load of laundry, check email. Just anything. I also drink water whenever I am hungry to make sure it's really hunger I am feeling and not thirst.
Down 5.5 lbs this week! WOOT!
I've been doing WW... but finally took off my "nursing mothers" points even though I'm still nursing... though I'm only nursing morning and nights. If my supply dries up, it dries up. We've made it this long but I really have to lose 25lbs before we try for #2 after the first of the year.
I've discovered the magic of chia seeds. My best friend turned me on to them... bought them off amazon. You mix 1/3 cup chia seeds with 2 cups apple juice. It makes a kind of apple gelatin. The seeds have zero taste. A couple spoonfuls in the morning... and more instead of snacking in the afternoon. Has tons of fiber and protein so fills me up and get a nice energy boost. Also has lots of great health benefits!
Hey, 10 lbs is a great start! And you have to start somewhere, right?
