Teague (for a boy, if you couldn't tell).

We are thinking Brandon Teague or Teague Brandon.  Brandon is a family name (my cousin who passed) and is not going anywhere.  Teague is on the short list, along with Cade, and we are going back and forth between the two.  If we have a boy, that is! 

Thoughts?

I like Teague better than Cade (Cade/Caden/Kaden/Kade) just isn't a name to me at at all. I don't know why, it just isn't. 

I have a student first/last named Brandon Teague but he pronounces his last name "Tag". I assume you would pronounce it "Teeg"?

Teague is cute, unique and I think it goes very well with Brandon.

 I like it Brandon Teague but you could still call him Teague.  I go by my middle name and it's not horrible.  Cade is very popular name so go with the unique one!  Good luck!!!

I don't like Teague or Cade at all. However, I do think Brandon Teague flows much better than Teague Brandon.

Brandon Teague has the best flow, and while Teague isn't my favorite Irish name, at least it's a real one.

Cade is okay...a little to close to the zillion of Aidens/Braydens/Cadens, but it's in the middle spot, so it's not all that likely to be noticed as much as if it were a first name. That said, I don't like the double D in that option. It seems clunky.

Thanks   I guess she was just getting back at me because I may or may not have given her unsolicited advice during her pregnancy when she was talking baby names

Teague is my maiden name so it definitely strikes me as a last name.  Brandon Teague sounds like a perfectly good full name to me, but not necessarily as a fn/mn combo.  My sister did name her daughter Teagan which I think rolls of the tongue a bit easier than just plain Teague as a fn.  If you name him Teague he may forever be nicknamed Teaguer..which is what a lot of the boys in my family got called (and girls to a certain extent while participating in sports).

I did think of the nickname thing and realize that other kids would probably call him "Tigger" or something like that!

One of the teachers at my high school was named Dr. Teague and he was extremely weird so I don't like it. Brandon is great. Cade is fine.

I like Teague and I think I prefer the flow of Brandon Teague better.  I think I would also prefer the flow of Cade Teague or Brandon Cade.
