I am interested in buying some fitteds for the next size up. We have just packed up the NB diapers and I am still using the GMD workhorse fitteds. I don't need many as these will be home diapers and we start DC in the new year.
I definitely am more interested in function v. cute factor for the price and there is no way I can justify spending more than say $20.00 for a single diaper which I am pretty sure eliminates GM, etc.
Any recs?
Oh and I am so not like, 47 weeks pregnant-I can't get the new ticker to work!

How absorbent are these? And where have you seen them? I'm having a hard time finding a site that has more than a stray one or two.
Kissaluvs sized fitteds w/o cover are $12.95. I really like ours - they've become our going out diaper because they're so reliable and don't leak.
Their Marvel OS is $24 so that one is out of your price range.

I had a hell of a time finding just two Fab Fitteds in the size I was looking for (but finally did on eBay). However, I found mediums and larges on Amazon, so you could check there - they can be scarce. Thankfully I only wanted two!
I can't speak from experience because we haven't had our baby yet but I did have the recent experience of looking for Thirsties FFs!
Little Lions are good and at $9 each the price is great. We had their trim version which I really liked for day time use. I did use it on occasion at night with a hemp doubler, but generally I reach for other fitteds when we CD at night. DS recently outgrew the med, and I'd pick up some larges but I have a lot of bigger dipes leftover from DD.

I love our Piddle Poddles. They are our favorite fitted. She often has them on sale for half price or buy one get one free, so I have never paid more than $20a diaper. I really like her toddler size for older and taller kids. DS still fits the OS with room, and is beginning to fit in the toddler size. The OS right now is very trim, especially when I don't use the snap in soaker during the day. I have used these with the snap in soaker and wool for nights, and they were great.

I don't find those or Kissaluvs size ones to be all that absorbant. DH likes the velcro of the Thirsties. They are fine for day, but I wouldn't use them overnight. ttbbb.com has them last time I checked.

Are you just wanting some day time small sizes? We have some fab fitteds in the smaller size, and they hold more than a green edge but maybe about the same as a red edge (we are in between sizes at 12+ lbs). For overnight, it seems like you have to splurge a little, but I've thought about trying these 2nds:

Shoot, looks like the hemp I was debating getting is out, but the OS is still there for $16 instead of $24.95!
