For those of you with LOs in Monkey costumes...

What are YOU going as? DH? I'd love to have a family theme. We are just going to neighbor's house, then a cruise around the neighborhood. DH's office is having a party on the Friday before, so I'll bring LO there and he'll wear his costume to work. 

I've seen the flying monkeys idea, and the barrel of monkeys. Any other ideas? I was thinking of going as a zookeeper, then DH could be something...? He suggested a gorilla but do you think that would scare LO? Thanks for the help!

Zoo is a good idea. We were thinking of doing a circus theme for a while, more so because DS is going to be a lion, but we decided to do a Wizard of Oz theme. Mostly because the ringmistress costume was more expensive than a Dorothy one.

we went as pirates and Ethan was our monkey pirate. It worked really well. I will search around for a pic to show.

Here is one. I couldn't find a pic with all of us. But here is a pic of DH with the pirate monkey on his shoulders. Ethan also had a eye patch, but you could also add an bandana to tie it all together.

I thought of that too but I don't think he'd do it. Plus he'd have to wear it all day at the office. He's the boss so I think that would be weird. lol

What about a Curious George theme? Not sure what role there is for mama, but daddy could be the man with the yellow hat.

DH keeps saying he should be a tree since DS will be "hanging" from him. I doubt he'll actually dress up though.
