I'm on the hunt for

Similac Sensitive RS. Apparently that's Jonah's best bet as far as formula goes (per his doctor), so she gave us a couple of the 8 oz canisters which will last all of 24 hours at the rate Jonah eats. So, I obviously need to find more so that I can continue nourishing my son without incessang spit-ups (hopefully). They didn't have any at Target (in Symmes Twp.) a couple days ago, and didn't have any at Walmart (Deerfield Twp.) today. Has anyone seen any anywhere?? If you see any when you're out and about tomorrow, can you please let me know? I know this is nothing to stress about in comparison with what we could be dealing with, but I just hate watching him be so uncomfortable. Thanks in advance!

  • I can't help you on where to find it but I held on to those checks...do you want them now?

  • Sure! They only have the little cans on the shelves, so I'll be buying quite a few cans until they bring back the large containers. I can get them from you tonight, if we're still on for pictures?

  • I don't know where to find the formula, but does it seem like his spit up is projectile, or that he is starting to lean to one side a bit? It could end up not being the formula and be pyloric stenosis instead. My husband had this as a baby (so we've had to watch for it in our son) but it develops between 1 and 3 months and it's an overgrowth of the pyloris, the muscle at the top of the stomach. It's a simple ultrasound to check for it.

We were on Enfamil for a week, and the spit-up got worse/more frequent, unfortunately. I swear that kid goes through 3-4 outfits a day. He spit up on me TWICE this morning as I was dropping him off at the baby-sitter's house.

His spit-up has only been projectile a handful of times, and I haven't noticed any leaning. I'll bring it up to the pedi the next time we see her, though - thanks for the suggestion!
