I was happy at first with these. I have the kind made for 12 months - it has a straw top, a valve and a straw under the valve.

It has suddenly become REALLY hard to get a drink out of. LO will be sucking on it and it sounds like the cup is almost empty whenever it is completely full by making the sucking sound like when you get to the end of your drink.

I've even tried to suck out of it myself and it's almost impossible sometimes. I've taken all the pieces apart and put them back together and nothing seems to fix it.

Anyone know what I'm talking about?

    Yes!  and mine seem to be leaking a lot now and the tops are getting hard to screw on.  I loved these at first but they don't seem to have a lot of longevity.

    I don't have the straw one, but have you tried taking out the clear rubber valve thingy majig?  On our regular sippy cup, it was hard to get liquid out, so I pulled the rubber part out and now it works fine.  It's no longer leak proof though...
