How many gallons of milk per week does your toddler drink?

We've only been on whole milk for a couple of weeks but it's looking like we go through a gallon a week. My mom gasped when I told her that a gallon of organic whole milk is almost $6 but that's only about $25 for one month! That's NOTHING compared to the cost of formula.

We all drink the same milk (Silk Almond) so I don't know exactly how much B drinks - though he drinks most of what gets consumed. I'm guessing maybe 3/4 gallon a week?

Maybe like a half gallon? We never measure what she drinks though.

I'd say 1/2 gallon. Pedi told us 12-16 oz (16 max)/day and she's happy with that amount. And actually, it's funny that you say that- I never had to buy formula but I do know that it's really pricey and I always think it's funny when people complain about the cost of (most likely) healthier milk when they had to spend so much on milk up until 1!

DD just doesn't love whole milk the way she did formula - we get about a week and a half of a gallon. Ever since she started daycare part-time though, we can get 2 weeks+ out of it... they provide milk at breakfast and lunch.

E isn't a fan of whole milk, so her and DH go through maybe a half gallon a week.  She also gets wm a daycare and she drinks more there.

About a half gallon - he doesn't drink a ton of milk. ?And I totally agree with you - after formula, organic milk seems like a huge bargain!

We go through probably 2.5-3 gallons a week, but DH drinks it, too. (I drink vanilla soy milk or sometimes almond milk b/c I hate the taste of cow's milk.) The boys each drink about 16 oz of milk per day.

He drinks about 16oz of milk right now.  12oz BM and 4oz cows milk so we aren't going through much.

I'm hoping on getting his afternoon sippy to 100% whole milk soon and give him BM for his morning sippy until 18 months.  Once that happens we'll go through a little less than a half gallon each week.
