u/s and doc update

Well, the cool thing is that they flipped to the 3D/4D u/s during the whole thing so I got some cool pics of my boy.

The scary thing is that he is at least mid-7s and possibly 8 pounds and technically I still have 4 weeks to go. gah!

The interesting thing is that I have an greater than average amount of amniotic fluid so that might explain why I am so "big".

The up side is I get to have another u/s next week and do this all over again.

The funny thing is that one of the things the doc asked me when he walked in the room was if I had everything ready at home. ::gulp:: Although he did say that he thinks that I will be back next week for my appointment.

Lots to process.

    Good Luck!  DS was 7+ at 34 wks. and ended up 9lb 12oz at 38+wks...hopefully it won't be a huge baby, but I'm a fan of not having to wait until 40 wks :)

    I had a 10-pounder last year and everything went fine -- so don't stress too much!

    Did they suspect that he was going to be that big? Did they let you go full term? I am 36 weeks tomorrow.

    Is it sad that I was looking forward to leaving work next Thursday and having a couple of weeks to do stuff around the house?
