1. Do you display pumpkins for Halloween? We have 2 sitting outside our front door that were purchased by the neighbors for us from the shower last weekend.
2. Where will you spend Thankgiving this year? Right here. DH's family is going to join us. This year there will be turkey since I'll be catering it. (Last year it was frozen pizza thanks to MIL not fixing anything - I am still bitter).
3. When will you buy your Christmas tree and how long will you leave it up? Hoping for the day after Thanksgiving - - but not sure. We usually leave it up until right before New Years. With the baby coming - I have no clue and just playing it by ear.
1. Do you display pumpkins for Halloween? We haven't ever, I think once we feel like we're in a house that we'll be in for a while (instead of going from apt to apt every year) I'll decorate more for the holidays.
2. Where will you spend Thankgiving this year? Haven't figured that out yet. Hopefully home alone. We're doing Thanksgiving with my Mom the Sunday before because she's working on Thanksgiving.
3. When will you buy your Christmas tree and how long will you leave it up? We already have it, it's obviously fake. We'll probably put it up a week or two after Thanksgiving and take it down sometime around New Years.
1. Do you display pumpkins for Halloween? This is the first year in our new condo. We can't carve pumpkins for display out side, but I have a few pumpkins around the house as well as a centerpiece full of small pumpkins and gourds.
2. Where will you spend Thanksgiving this year? DH, Austin and myself are driving 12-13 to STL to spend Thanksgiving with my Uncle and his family. It should be lots of fun. My parents and siblings are coming up from Texas as well.
3. When will you buy your Christmas tree and how long will you leave it up? This has yet to be decided. DH wants to get a real tree since we have no place to store a fake one, so we will probably get it a few weeks before Christmas and take it down shortly after.

1. Yes, we display pumpkins every year. I like them!
2. We are spending tgiving at my grandma's house.
3. We buy our tree the day after thanksgiving and take it down the day after x-mas. When it is over, it's over. Leaving the tree up just makes me sad. I hate to see it presentless and by that time it is dropping neetles all over the floor just by breathing next to it. We usually burn it in a bonfire in the backyard.
1. Do you display pumpkins for Halloween? No, we're on a dead end street and no one would really see them but us anyway. I do have a Halloween wreath on the front door though.
2. Where will you spend Thanksgiving this year? We eat with DH's family around 1ish, then go to my parents for their dinner around 6.
3. When will you buy your Christmas tree and how long will you leave it up? I LOVE Christmas!!! We usually get it the first week of December. I'm debating what to do this year with the baby coming. I hate taking it down and dealing with all the clean up mess! We take it down a day or 2 after Christmas. Like Ashley, I can't stand to have it up any longer and the needles are a disaster!

Ours is already bought (artificial) but I hope to put it up sometime over the Thanksgiving holiday and take it down by Jan 6 (Epiphany or Three Kings Day) if I can make it that long. I'm usually so tired of looking at it by then that I've taking it down.
1. Do you display pumpkins for Halloween? Yes, we usually do it Halloween day or the day before. Last year our pumpkins got smashed halloween night so I was glad we didn't put them out sooner.

Oh goodness, my mom's bf rented a house in Pismo Beach, which is a 5 hour drive from here. HIs family and my family all in one big house (queue The Brady Bunch music) for 5 days. With Marcos hating the car and the fact that Mom's BF's daughter is mental, I am dreading it already.
3. When will you buy your Christmas tree and how long will you leave it up?
We usually buy our tree the second week of December and take it down after three kings day Jan 6th.
I have always heard it is bad luck to bring your xmas tree into the new year.

1. Do you display pumpkins for Halloween? Yes!
2. Where will you spend Thankgiving this year? At home. DH makes the turkey and I make Puerto Rican Deserts. This year my parents are coming to spend the weekend with us.
3. When will you buy your Christmas tree and how long will you leave it up? We have it..it fake of course and I usually put it up the day after Thanksgiving with our whole display (Chisrmas at home are all out), but this year will put it up the weekend before, so the house it's decorated when my parents come.
We take it down the day Puerto Rican Christmas end (January 14th); which is the end of the Octavitas (8 days after the Three Kings Day).
1. Do you display pumpkins for Halloween? Normally we do, but we're going away this weekend so we'll probably get them when we get back on tuesday
2. Where will you spend Thankgiving this year? We're spending it in Delaware with our families

We already own an artificial tree, but since we're not going home this year & dont' have anyone coming down- DH said I can get a real tree to help make it feel more like the holidays at our house. We'll probably get it soon after thanksgiving, and take it down right after xmas...
Some faiths consider January 6th the end of the Christmas season.

Haven't bought any yet. Probably will next year when JJ is old enough to interact with them.

In Minnesota visiting the in-laws. (yes I'm hoping to see if I can get together with some of the girls in the Twin Cities area while I'm there)

We do an artificial tree because of my allergies. Usually I put it up about 2 weeks before Christmas (or no sooner than the day after Thanksgiving) and leave it up until New Year's Day.

3. When will you buy your Christmas tree and how long will you leave it up? We have a fake one, usually goes up the weekend after Thanksgiving and comes down after new years b/c I'm too busy

3. When will you buy your Christmas tree and how long will you leave it up? We will do most of our decorating the weekend after Thanksgiving. I'm not really sure what we are going to do about a tree this year with Lil Miss so curious and into everything!
I've been wondering how this is going to play out in my house this year too. I really hope she doesn't bother it, but I'm afraid that's just wishful thinking.
