    SS* It's nice. The person receiving it can put it in their wallet or even frame it, unlike the Christmas cards with the photo embedded.

    Do you mean family photo or LO? We usually send a wallet of LO with our Christmas pic to close family who live in other states, etc....otherwise no I wouldn't send a family wallet with a regular card, if you wanna send a photo do a photo card

    I would much prefer that over the Christmas card with the photo embedded.  I would be more likely to keep it up all year instead of some Christmas themed card that seems out-of-season in June.

    That being said, we always send wallet pics with our TY cards and and we do our Christmas cards with embedded photo.  People keep his wallet pic on their fridge, but I have yet to see our Christmas card up, except for my parents' fridge.

    ETA: Our wallet pics are of the babe only. It would be weird to send our fam picture for people to carry in their wallets.

    I don't see the harm. I probably wouldn't send it to everyone we know, but I think it's nice... doesn't seem all that different than handing out wallet-sized photos to your family and friends.

    I don't mind this at all. I agree with pp that it's less of a pita to keep a little picture on the fridge all year than a gaudy embedded xmas card. plus my friend sends multiple pics in her cards and I love it!  I never have wallet size photos, but if I did I'd send them out! why not?

    I think it's nice, not tacky at all. I like having little pics of our friends and family on our fridge.

    Yup, I meant a wallet size pic of just kiddo. No one wants to see me and DH's ugly mugs! lol.

    For some reason I don't like wallet size photos. I just never really know what to do with them. I wouldn't think it was tacky but I also wouldn't necessarily display the wallet on my fridge. I like the photo cards better.
