Is anyone else a sippy cup natzi?

I swear I'm developing an unhealthy habit of constantly knowing where my son's sippy cups are at all times. I think it's because my DH left one out (that had some milk in it) and 2 days later I found it under the bed full of gross milk chunks Ick!

So now I'm like hyper vigilant about where the cups are, if they need to be washed out, refilled, put back in the fridge. I need to take a chill pill and calm down! Anyone else this crazy?

  • Yes. After catching Maggie about to sip from a cup of warm, curdled non-homogenized milk that my mom lost track of last week, I keep close tabs on her cups.

We just had a similar situation in my house.  I looked over and Charlotte was drinking from a sippy cup......that I didn't giver her.  Thank God she only got a sip and it was just old water.  I still wanted to barf.  I guess the dumb thing was in her toy box.  Ewww.

  • I found one of old milk in the fridge in her play kitchen once. yuck! I was so tempted to just throw the thing away.
  • YES! Ben likes to hide food and cups in his playroom...so now I keep tabs at ALL times. Once when I was reorganizing his playroom I found a peach in one of his bins Ick! it hadn't been eaten yet but was the size of a prune so it must have been there for a month or so...barf
