Does anyone have any home daycare recommendations in the Crofton/Bowie area?  Preferrably Crofton.

I live in Crofton and searched for a bit for in home while we were on several waiting lists at centers.  I wasn't to impressed, we almost went with one lady, but she flaked at the last minute.  Good luck though!

Do you know the name of the lady who backed out?

We are going to see Jennifer Prevo tonight.  I met with her over the summer and I liked her, but I feel like she might back out.

I had the worst experience with this. I live in Crofton and was getting desperate in my daycare search. I had a list of all licensed providers in the area and called them all looking for openings. Several were incredibly rude to me over the phone, none of them had openings, a good portion of them would not even answer the phone or return my calls. I found one opening on CL and it sounded like a dream but when I got there to tour her house it was a disgusting mess and smelled like stale smoke. I hope you have better luck than I did. The whole thing turned me off to in-home daycare. I know there are good ones out there, but I couldn't find any in our area.
