how long would french toast last?

In the fridge, of course?  If I made 3 slices today, gave one today and one tomorrow, would the last still be good by Friday (so, 2 days)?  Batter has egg, milk, cinnamon and a drop of vanilla.  TIA!

  • I'd eat it.

In fact, why don't you bring it on over?  TIA.

  • i think it would be ok. i've heard of people making it in bulk and freezing it too, but i think you change up the recipe a little bit.

I think it would be fine, but it might be a little soggy.

try heating it up in a toaster oven or even back on the stove.  it might not be as soggy as if you were to nuke it.

Thanks ladies!  It's for DS, so soggy is okay.  He doesn't know any different. :)

  • We make big batches all the time and freeze the leftovers. I just let it cool off before wrapping it up in freezer paper then foil and sticking it in the freezer. Then reheat it on low in the toaster oven.

    Mmmmm French Toast....
