What I don't understand is that the issue they are stating is the gap between the seat and the tray, and that a baby could scoot down and get their head stuck in between that space. The recall is to contact them for a repair kit... how are you supposed to repair that issue?? And there were four reports of infant strangulations FIVE+ years ago? There wouldn't even be an issue if the seatbelt was on the child.

I was just reading that too, I thought it was odd that the incidents happened so long ago and they are just now getting around to recalling them.

I was just thinking that too. Honestly why would anyone put an infant into it without a seat belt? Maybe they were using the bassinet feature? I don't know. And I would love to know how we fix it. I think we are on the list. The dates are going to be close. I don't know when ours was manufactured. It's in the car trunk so I will have to have DH check when he gets home tonight.

Looks like the "repair kit" is just a fabric restraint you attach to the stroller to close the gap between the tray and the seat. Neat...
So, between the goofy looking fabric covers I had to put over the hinges to prevent severing off my kid's finger and the latest contraption to keep her from suffocating, our awesome stroller is going to look like a homemade arts and crafts project.
Anyone wanna recommend their NON-Graco stroller??
