D&C scheduled for Friday at 1pm

Well, after 2 rounds of methotrexate injections my beta just won't come all the way back down to zero. I had been reduced from twice a week b/w to just once a week. Last Tuesday my beta dropped from 98 to 63. I was very happy about that. I fully expected my beta to come back at almost zero from yesterday's draw.

It didn't. MY RE called me personally to tell me my beta held steady at 63. I knew it was bad news then he called and not the nurse. I was given a few options, 1. let me body finish this naturally which could take up to a month with no guarantee and I might still need D&C. 2. A 3rd round of Methotrexate and repeat b/w. If beta not down, D&C. OR, 3. D&C and be done with all this.

I chose #3. I am so emotionally drained right now. I feel broken and helpless. I am just ready to start healing and move on. I know my problems are so small compared to other recent events. I don't mean to whine, I just wanted you ladies to know what was going on.

My D&C is at 1pm on Friday. I would appreciate a spare prayer, if you have any...
