a diaper pail that actually masks smells?  I don't like the one we have for my DD (Safety 1st) and need to get a new one.  If you have a pail that you would recommend, please let me know.  Thanks for your help!

I don't know that it masks smells, but we got a small Simple Human can to use for our cloth diapers and I don't think it lets out odors at all.

The Munchkin/Arm & Hammer Pail we got does a pretty good job and I always throw a carbon disc into the bottom before putting the bag in to take care of the external smells whilst the baking soda takes care of them inside the bag.

We never put poopy diapers in ours, the Diaper Champ, and it doesn't ever smell. I put a small mesh bag of coffee beans in the bottom of each one, which helps keep a fresher smell.

I have been wondering the same thing and was going to post about this today 

I think we have the same one, the Safety 1st.  It does not mask/keep in odors at all.  I really need to find one that does a better job.

We have a Diaper Genie Elite in our family room and we put all the diapers in there.  It works for BF baby diapers!

Ditto this.  Been using it for two years now and we've never had odor issues!

We have a Diaper Genie too and it seems to work well.  I try to keep on top of emptying it often but I've never had much problem.

We have the First Years Clean Air diaper Paul and love it. I never smell it unless the batteries are dead. It also uses regular kitchen trash bags.
