Young Stanley - Reviews and Comments....

Hi Everyone,

 We are still deciding on baby furniture.  After continuing our research we are now looking at the All Season's Collection by Young Stanley.   I learned that the Crib and Dresser is only $110 more than the Munire set we had been considering.  We have Stanley furniture in our master bedroom and it is GREAT quality.  We've had it for years and still looks new (except for a few places where the vacuum may have bumped into it!)    After seeing all these sets in person the Stanley set just seems stronger, more solid and sturdier than the others.  However,   Baby Bargins rates Munire an A and Stanley a B.  They say its because of their price point but again if you do real digging many of their pieces are not that much higher.   Stanley seems to have fixed any issues they had from years ago.  Am I wrong?  

My question to you.  Does anyone out there have Young Stanley?  Do you like it?   Also can you share any safety ratings you have found about this company ie: Crib Safety.  I am having a hard time finding info out there other than what BB has written.

    We ordered the Young America crib and dresser (Gen America) because I have also heard that the quality is great, though it is a bit on the pricey side.  I was interested in buying furniture made in the US, so this met all of my safety and US-made criteria.  It also came highly recommended by a friend.  Can't say much beyond that, as I obviously haven't used it yet!

    We have Stanley Furniture Young America also.  DD has the All Season's Collection in her room and we purchased the Harbortown for baby #2.

    I really think it is worth the money 100%, we have been very pleased.  Excellent quality, sturdy, strong.  We liked it so much we went back for baby #2 also.

    We also purchased the Young America crib for DS.  It is so cute and we keep getting compliments about it:)  We purchased the IKEA Hemnes dresser to go with it and they look great together!  PM me with your email and I can send you a picture of it set up in the room!

    I wish I could figure out how to PM you so I could see the picture of the crib/dresser.  I know its beautiful --all of Stanley's stuff is!
