I was at Old Navy stocking up on comfy post-pregnancy clothes today and the cashier asked me about baby names. She said her friend just had a baby boy a few days ago and named him Elliott Russell!

So adorable and classic. I couldn't hold back the compliments... lol it's so refreshing to hear people choosing under-used classics.

Wow, that is a great name! Agreed..I try to compliment as many good names as I can; we need more of them. I couldn't stop gushing about the 6-month-old Louise I met last month. Crazy cute with a good, solid name to boot.

It is a wonderful name and I was thankful to see Elliott was not a girl, but a boy! yay!!

I do like the classics, but I don't like all the double letters that are in that name. Four sets of doubles is a lot IMO.

It is refreshing.

I know everybody has their own idea of what makes a good name and what makes a bad name, but it does feel like a bit of an overload when there's so many trendy, edgy, bandwagon names going around. My ears perk up a little when I hear that someone's named their kid something with a classic feel.
