How can you tell if BM has gone bad?

Xavier wouldn't take a bottle of breastmilk, granted it was 5 days old. I tasted it (just a little on the tip of my finger) and it tasted weird, but seeing has I have no idea what it's SUPPOSED to taste like I don't know if it was 'bad'. I just expressed fresh breast milk and tasted that for comparison's sake and it was the same.

Anything I should look out for?

Mine gets a really strong metallic-like smell.  DD will refuse it too.  I've only had trouble with milk that had been frozen.  Milk that was in the fridge for 5 days should be ok.  Maybe it was something you ate the day you pumped it?

I just go based on if Danny will eat it or not. He's a pig so I know when something is wrong with the milk, he spits it out.
