Has anyone ever taken one? It measures the level of FSH (follicle stimulating hormone) in your urine on CD 3. Supposedly, it tells you if your ovarian reserve (quantity and quality of eggs) is at a normal level or if your ovarian reserve could be at a level that may be affecting your chances of conception. I got a free one in a 3 pack of FRER at WalMart. 4 things to pee on for like $13!
Re: First Response Fertility Test?
I wouldn't use it. it is not really an accurate measure. If you are concerned or think you might have issues in that area, I would consult with an RE and have them do testing. That test isn't going to really give you a true accuate measure ad it could even upset you for no reason. I think it's one of those things where you get what you pay for. I mean they also sell over the counter gender predictor kits as well and I wouldn't trust one of those either.

I got one of those freebies too. It had been a while since I had my levels tested so I tried it. Mine turned up normal but if it had been high I would be running to the RE for CD3 testing.
I would say try it if you want, but bear in mind that you have to use it on CD3. So if it came back high, you would have to wait until your next CD3 to have your levels tested by a doctor, and that is a long wait.
