When did you register?

I started my registry a few weeks ago. I am also a planner and I realized that this registry thing is a work in progress. I've read reviews, gotten others opinions and have ended up changing a few things. Now is when I'm finally completely set on all of my choices. Good luck!

I think I started my registry in store around 26 weeks or so.  I had been researching products and reading reviews since early on though.

I have already started researching and making a list of the things I think/know I want. Once DH gets home from Afghanistan and we find out the gender we will go finish up since our families plan on throwing our baby shower a bit earlier than 'normal' since it has to be planned around DH's leave time, and the fact we live 12hours away (they want me to be comfortable to travel and not too close to my due date).

I registered around 20 weeks, after I knew the gender.  Being the crazy planner that I am, I had a good idea of the big stuff I wanted to register for beforehand.

We are planning to start our registry in the next week or so (knowing it will take us a couple of months to fully complete it because we have a lot of things scheduled on weekends and such).  I want it to be totally ready about a month out from my shower, so that gives us about 2 and a half months if we start soon.  I don't want to feel too rushed with it.

I should also note we are not waiting to find out the gender because I don't plan to register for say, all pink strollers and stuff if it's a girl, because I plan to use the gear for future children as well.
