Months ?

I feel kinda silly asking this because I feel like I should already know. I just can't think though...can we blame pregnancy brain? Anyway, the real world doesn't care how many weeks I am...so, how many months am I when I am so many weeks? Does that make sense? Do weeks such and such correlate with month x? TIA!

The big secret that nobody tells you before you get knocked up is that pregnancy is actually 10 months long!!!

So I think (and somebody correct me if I'm wrong here) that weeks do equal months (average 4 weeks per month x 10 = 40 weeks) and that if you are 36 weeks pregnant you are officially 9 months pregnant until you deliver (on your EDD, which is the 10th month).

Sorry, had to go look at your ticker. I would say you're 3 months pregnant(6 days into your third month)! Anyone else?

Thanks! That makes sense. I guess I didn't know if 9 months ended the pregnancy (40 weeks), making everything else more confusing for me, if I needed to subtract those silly 2 weeks at the beginning to get it figured correctly or what. I like you're thinking though. I'll go with that!

I agree - about 3m pregnant. Keep in mind that you don't have to be totally accurate when you tell people...just say "about 3 months, due in April" (or whenever you're due).

And if you're 36 weeks or more, it's fun to tell people you're 9 months pregnant. They get a panicked look on their faces, as if you're going to deliver right there in front of them, lol!
