Hey everyone!! I'm sure most of you saw, I had the baby on Friday! We named her Lucy Christine. She was 9lb14oz and was 21 inches long. My doc said it was a good thing that we did the csection because there was no way I would have been able to vbac. Lucy wasn't even engaged in my pelvis at all! Ugh. But she's here and beautiful. She has so much dark hair. And it's straight! Lol. Breastfeeding is going so well. My milk came in today. I'm so happy that it's working out this time!!Ellie is doing ok with it. She missed me and Logan a lot while we were in the hospital. She doesn't pay Lucy to much attention but she's definitely curious about what she's doing all the time, including when she's bfing. Lol. I'm not sure how to post pics of her from my phone so if someone wants to grab one from my Facebook and post it, go ahead. Logan will hopefully get out Internet hooked up tomorrow so I can post some more!
Re: Hey ladies!
My surgeon said the same thing about Grady not being engaged - his head was just too big. I'm glad your doc made the right call for you! I can't believe how big Lucy is!
Good to hear such a wonderful report!! We didn't have much interaction between the toddler and the new baby at first, either. Jonah was not impressed and all he was interested in were all the visitors we got.
BUT...give it a little time! He's now very much a protector of his "brover" and loves him so much! There are times he wants to kiss and hug on the baby and I have to break it up, before he squashes him with lovin'!
CONGRATULATIONS, Mel! Lucy is perfect.
I'm so happy for you that breastfeeding is going well!

Congrats Mel! I am so glad that things went well and that you're BF'ing too! I thought BF-ing Ashlyn was SO MUCH easier than my first time with Haley! I just hope it continues to go smoothly for you!
By the way - LOVE her name and she's adorable!
