My RE said I could try this but he didn't give me any dosage information since it's just starting human trials....
So I guess my question is - if you took/are taking this, how much are you taking daily?
I've been taking 60mg but then I saw some posts online where women were taking 600-800mg. That sounds expensive
Re: CoQ 10 question
Hum, what would it help with?
It's often used to help people w severe migraines, and yes...it's def pricey!
There is some evidence that it helps with egg quality/quantity in "older" rats - lol (I guess my eggs have betrayed me by acting 10years older than I am :P and since we're also dealing with azoo I'm grasping at straws)
Most of the posts I have found were by women doing IVF in Canada. Which makes more sense now....I guess they are starting trials in Toronto (?) this year to see if it helps with IVF results in humans.
Hum very interesting...I used to sell imitrex for migraine, and it was commonly, and successfully, used to treat migraines.
It could be worth a shot, i guess it can't hurt. The canadian rats are doing well
It acts as an antioxidant in the body. (In the rat study PP mentioned, they determined that in rats it acted as an antioxidant on something in the ovaries.) My RE recommends antioxidant supplementation for everyone, but particularly women with egg quality issues.
Dr. Green with SIRM in Northern California recommends it. You might find something about it in his blog. I know some of the ladies on the SIRM boards say that he talks about it in his book.
I am taking 100 mg 1x a day. But, I don't know what the doctors recommend dosage wise. The Co Q 10 I purchased was 100 mg tablets and it said to take 1 tablet 1x a day.
