OB GYN Recommendations - Naperville Area

Hello,

I am new to 'the bump' and hoping that some of you may be able to help me out.  I'm looknig for a few recommendations of doctors in the Naperville area as I'm looking to make my first appointment (I tested positive over the weekend).

Thanks!

Re: OB GYN Recommendations - Naperville Area

  • I saw Drs. Badowski, Drusak, and Jensen.  They are very good doctors.  They are very busy so don't go there if you want lots of personalized attention.  Sometimes I had to wait a long time to be seen in the office especially if the doctor was on call.  I have no complaints with the care I received.
  • DuPage Medical Group is really good - and they have 2 or 3 Naperville locations and a huge selection of Doctors.  You do have to see all in the group - it rotates, but that's how most of them work now anyways.  Also, they deliver at either Edward or Central DuPage depending on which office you go to, both great hospitals!

  • We use DuPage Medical Group and my primary is Dr. Weeks.

    Great practice!

  • I love the Women's Center for Health:

It's a group practice and they have offices in Naperville, Plainfield and Bolingbrook.  So far, I have loved everyone there!  All of the doctors, nurses and staff are so friendly and helpful.  They actually listen and answer all of your questions.  I really can't say enough good things about them!

Just an FYI, ou would be delivering out of Edward Hospital in Naperville.

    Oh! and congratulations!!

  • DH used to work with OB/GYNs and when we moved to the burbs he hand picked Womens Healthcare Associates at Rush Copley. All the docs are great...Dr. Alexander was my primary. The treatment I got during my pregnancy and delivery was fantastic.

I am seeing midwives out of Rush Copley, but Dr. Alexander was also recommended to me for a low intervention birth.  It also depends on what kind of birth experience you want b/c some of the area hospitals are much more intervention-friendly than others, which may or may not be an issue to you.
