I nursed DD for a year and AF returned at 10 weeks post partum. I am nursing DS on demand and AF has returned at 9.5 weeks post partum. What horse sh!t. Totally unfair!

I was the same way with both of mine. I know you already scheduled that Drs. appointment for Moe, but the IUD is one great way to get rid of AF.

Sorry! Mine didn't show with DS until 3 weeks shy of his 1st birthday...but I think the PCOS mostly had a hand in that.

I was going to say the exact. same. thing.  Seriously, it works wonders.. I think I've had 4 or 5 periods since I first became preggo in May 2007.  m/c + pregnancy after 2 AF's + nursing + mirena = minimal periods.
