DH's bloodtests from 9-21 finally heard from the Urologist.

Finally after calling, calling and waiting the Urologist's office called this morning and they are putting Jon on Clomid starting at 50 mgs. for 3 months and then doing another SA at his January 18th appt. I reminded her of Jon's size and that the doctor may want to increase the dosage accordingly. Well the doctor is out again this week so she is going check with him next week. I told her just call the RX into the pharmacy and he can start the 50 mgs. this week since I don't want to go another week of waiting.

I think it's a good start! I have heard of lots of guys being on clomid. That sucks the Dr. is out. What did the RE say? Or you just got them back and he doesn't know. Sucks they took so long.

My DH has been on clomid since mid june. He takes 25 mg a day, so 50mg  seems like a lot to me. We have seen def improvement in his numbers since he has been on it. I'm not KU but now we can have hope that it is possible.

We did see improvement before the 3 month mark so you might want to get an SA done before just to see. We aren't OOP for that so we did an SA at about a month.

Can I ask why they chose to put him on Clomid?  To me, it's not making sense why they would put him on it.  How were his results on the bloodwork-FSH, Testosterone, TSH, etc?

It's great that he is getting to start treatment! My DH goes for another SA tomorrow and then to the specialist on the 29th to review all of the tests and come up with a treatment plan.
