OMG, dd wants this so bad!  it was $60 at the local Target.  please!  I think she'll love it for a month and then lose it's thrill.  but they love ds's remote control car, so I may be wrong.   MIL/FIL gave me the money to get it for her from them for Christmas.  where did you see it for $50?  I'm watching for lower prices.

Late on answering this but my DD got the cat from my Mom last month & it was a waste of $$ she maybe played with it for 1/2 hr & then she will pick it up every once in a great while.  The cat barely walks takes a few steps & then stops & cry's.  Not sure if the dog comes with a remote control (you mentioned in your reply about the kids liking the remote car) if it does that would be better.  If it is anything like the cat don't waste your $$
