I live on the third floor of my condo building. I've been looking at travel systems and most seem a little on the heavy side to be lugging up and down the flights of stairs. I'm looking for recs of travel systems on the "lighter" side... like Graco Metrolite/Snugride or the Safety 1st Aerolite system. Anyone find a lightweight travel system that they love? Thanks in advance ladies!
Re: Lightweight travel systems
The general opinion is that travel systems are heavy and unnecessary. Post people end up regretting getting them. I would recommend getting a simple snap and go for your infant seat. It's super lightweight and relatively inexpensive. When I was a nanny I loved it, and then we used a City Mini (which I also loved) once baby could sit up on her own. HTH!
ETA: Another option is to just get an infant seat adapter for a stroller like the City Mini. It's just a bar that fits on a full size stroller, that your infant seat will snap in to. That way you only ever have to get one piece of equipment. I just liked the snap and go because it was so tiny, which was good for quick errands.
You could get this "travel system". Super lightweight. The Graco car seat does fit into this stroller which is pretty nice.
Graco Mosiac stoller- I have seen different patterns in store

Graco snugride--but any Graco car seat will fit.

Another option is to get the City Mini and a car seat adaptor. The stroller is super light, easy to fold and a breeze to use.
