Am I the only bumpie without a nursery?!!?

I'm a little depressed at the fact that DH and I are living in a one bedroom apartment so we can save up to buy a house in about a year. I know that financially we've made the best decision for our family but I'm totally bummed about missing out on seeting up a nuresery for LO. Any other bumpies not have a separate room to decorate? Any ideas on how to decorate just a corner?

Are you purchasing a full sized crib? if not, Davinci makes some really cute Mini cribs, that turn into Twins sized beds.You could just decorate the wall over the crib and add a mobile that hangs from the ceiling (maybe using colors that coordinate with your bedroom).

Here are some cute ones that I found (however, it really depends on the style of furniture that you already have in the Master).

The crib is usually the focal point of the nursery anyways, so as long as you have it, I think that you can make it cute.

Don't worry, you aren't alone!  My baby will be sleeping in the master bedroom too (there are 2 bedrooms, but we rent out the other, so no space for a nursery).  Getting a full size crib and then selling some of the extra bedroom furniture that isn't necessary to make more space.  Will probably go the wall decal route for the "baby's corner" to spruce it up a bit.  Just think about the fabulous room for your LO you'll get to decorate once you have a house!

Nope, I put baby in the corner.

We're in a 2br for the first 5 months of LO's life and I didn't want to make DS and the baby share a room and ruin DS's sleep, so LO's in our room.

We're getting a room divider from Ikea and will be doing some little decoration above the PnP and changing table.  I have a whole bedding set that I love already, so LO will get his own nursery in our next home (hopefully!) but we're sharing at the beginning.

We are also in a 1 bedroom...and honestly, I like it. I felt so bad not having a special nursery for her, but now that she is here, I realize that I like having her in her crib in our room and if we did have a nursery, she would not be using it.

We have a one bed room and have plans to arrange the 4x6 feet from the bedroom door to the bathroom door as Baby's corner. we haven't moved the bookshelves to the living room yet, so I can't show you a picture of what we have in mind, but I'm not too bummed about having her in our room til she's 2 or so.
