I haven't started yet, but I see a lot of recommendations for Green Mountain.  I can't personally tell you about the fit, however.

Also, you can take your diapers to walmart and exchange them for another type... unfortunately, it has to be exchanged for diapers. But at least you can have some usable diapers on hand, in case you need them! And great to give away at baby showers lol.

 

He may not be allergic to the pampers, it may be the stupid dry-max chemicals causing his rash.. have you googled pampers dry max rash? It seems to give some babies chemical burns.    Poor LO

not sure if you are still looking but we love our cottonbabies unbleached indian prefolds! 2 years later and still going strong!

We have used both white and unbleached GMDs and Cotton Babies Indian PFs.  Both brands are great.  Welcome to the world of CDing!  I don't know about Walmart's return process, but I would have no use for any other sposies (I didn't receive any from anyone, thank goodness), so maybe you can get store credit somewhere else where you can get things other than sposies, like maybe a grocery store or Target or something?

I'm not sure how old your LO is but if you go with the Green Mountain prefolds I have about 46 orange edges that I'm wanting to sell. They have never been used, only prepped. We just didn't end up liking them. PM if you want!
