xp: help us name our baby!

Ok so DH and I have narrowed LO's name down to 2 choices.  We just can't decide which one.  Here are the names and their meanings:

Kendra - knowlegeable, water baby, magical
Avery - elf counsel or ruler, wise

I personally like Avery because in her 20 week ultrasound, her foot really does look like she is wearing elf shoes! Not only that, I think it's prettier and easier to say than Kendra.  DH doesn't really have a reason why he likes Kendra better, he just does. The middle name would be Louise (after DH's grandmother) and our last name starts with a W and is 2 syllables long.  What do you ladies think?  Thanks for the help!

I like Avery better.  I've never cared much for Kendra

Kendra sounds like a stripper name to me. I would go with Avery. I love that name and know quite a few girls with that name.

Well she was. But you're right. And that's all I think of when I think of someone named Kendra.

 I've always thought Avery was a girl's name, so that is why I choose Avery.

Kendra!!!  It's one of my best friend's name.  And she is a sweet heart. 

I'm not that too much of a fan of Avery.

I prefer Avery myself. Someone mentioned that it's a boy's name, but it always sounded very feminine to me.

Ehhh...

They're both NMS. But I guess Avery is the more aurally-appealing of the two.
