Can cradle cap weep?

Iris has a big spot on the back of her head that is red and weepy. She does have the scaly cradle cap on other parts of her head. Just wondering if it could be something more. We go to the doctor in a week for her 2 month visit. I'm wondering if it should be looked at sooner. Any thoughts? Thanks!

    Maybe it is a psoriasis patch?  You can definitely wait until your appointment to have it looked at.  DD had some cradle cap.  Although it sometimes looked oily, it definitely did not weep.
