Anyone have an espresso crib with a white dresser?

I had my heart set on espresso colored furniture in the nursery but then my mom told me that the change table my grandpa built 30 years ago when I was born was over at my aunts and that I could have it!  So of course I wanted to use that but it's white and I can't imagine how it would turn out if I painted it a dark color.  I don't think it would look that good because it would be painted and wouldn't look like espresso stained wood.  Sooo...in the mean time we've also picked some fabric for custom bedding and have decided to go with grey walls.

My dilema now is what color of dresser to get.  I am leaning towards white since the change table will be white and white looks great against grey walls.  But i'm worried about how the crib will look with everything since it's espresso.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Yep, we do.  Looks great together and I personally like that they are not matchy matchy.  Gives it more personality.

We have an espresso crib & changing table with an antique white armoire. They look fine together.

We do and I love it! I am not a fan of matching sets of furniture in any room.

I have gray walls, an espresso crib and a white dresser and other white furniture.  I think everything goes well together, especially if you add some brown/espresso accents such as woven baskets so that the crib is not the only espresso colored item in the room.

I don't know how espresso brown would look with gray, personally. I never think gray and brown looks good together, but i'll defer to the PP who actually has that color scheme,

i have blue walls, espresso crib and glider, and lime green dresser and shelves.

I have a white crib and dark wood dresser. I think it looks fabulous and keeps the room from being to "match-y match-y". I added a white end table next to my rocker and some dark wood shelves on the walls to tie it all together. I'm very pleased with how it came out. (I also have gray/green walls and both color woods look great with the paint.)

I think it will look great together.  We have an espresso crib and changing table/dresser but plan on getting white side table and book shelves.
