Folding your BJCS

I was playing with my stroller this morning and am wondering how you all fold your baby jogger city select when you have the carseat adapter and a seat attached.  Am I correct in assuming I have to remove the adapter prior to folding? 

How do you do it?

    I leave the adaptor on. I fold it and when I put it in the car The seat will be on top and it works great.

    Thanks!  I just worry about the adapter getting crushed by the stroller or something. Stupid I guess :).
