Who is around here tonight?
We just put DD to bed. It is night one of no binky. I am trying to do something quiet until I know she is asleep, then I can straighten and clean up my messy house. So here I sit, surfing and waiting for all hell to break loose.
Who is here tonight? What is new with you? Any plans for the weekend?

I'm here.....for now. I need to hit the hay soon so I can get up early and stand in line to get in the Mothers of Twins sale tomorrow!
How's the no binky thing going? PT and pacis are going to be the death of me!!!!

I have never been to a sale. Are they worth standing in line for? I keep seeing the raves, but I am not a fan of frenzied shopping. Is it as crazy as I think it would be? I hope you find some good deals.
We are going all in on both the potty training and the binky breaking this week. The potty training should have happened many months ago, but it is my very least favorite thing to do as a parent. Torture. How is it going for you so far? I have seen lots of positive stories around here lately, which really help.
I'm here on and off. We have DD's last soccer game tomorrow and then Moesten and I are taking the kids to KI on Sunday.
DS starts daycare next week as long as I get called into work. It's the same daycare DD went to the 1st 4 years of her life and he's going to have all the same teachers she had. Talk about a time warp.

Im hanging around... I feel so behind though, I can't catch up on the boards!
The east side sale isn't bad at all crowd wise. I only get there about 15 min early. I've gotten some really great deals. We got our stripped down kitchen for $15 which has served it's purpose well. I have found great deals on Little People stuff, books, and boys clothes like sweaters. The boy's clothes are generally slim picking, but I also got Caleb's full snow pants/coat combo last year for like $12!! I'm mostly going tomorrow for some baby girl clothing (which they usually have tons of), sweaters for Caleb, books, and I'm really hoping they have something like the Laugh and Learn house. We'll see. My mom always goes with me, so we have fun shopping around. You should totally check one out!
PT is pretty much nonexistent in our house. He really wants nothing to do with the potty....although he likes to talk about it. Honestly, I'm too tired most days to even think about it so I've just resigned myself to the fact that I will have 2 in diapers and one of them will be 3 years old!!

We're trying really hard with PTing but its all up to Ben right? LOL I got him underwear and so far he's only gone on his own twice and the rest of the time were accidents. When he's naked, he goes on the toilet every time. GRR. I keep trying to explain to him that underwear wont hold anything in and its not a diaper and even though I ask 1843978 times if he has to go to the bathroom, we still have constant accidents.
Yep, they've been so awesome. They're making an exception and taking him in "as needed" since we have such a good history there. Plus, my pay is so far below "poverty" level that it's paid for completely. One less thing to stress about.
Good luck with the PT. DS has been 100% diaper free all week, at least during the day. He's averaging 1-2 accidents a day, but it hasn't been a big deal.
I'm in and out. I supposed to be loading the dishwasher and this is more fun.
I can relate. All is quiet. She fell asleep without one crying fit over not having the binky. I still sit here trying to avoid my dirty house.
That's awesome! De-babying our babies is hard stuff! I think that's why I still let Nora sleep with hers.
Oh. Geez. I never thought about it as debabying. Once it is all done, I am sure that will be what I am thinking. Wow.
Thanks for letting me prepare myself for that reality check. I would not have done well if it would have hit me all at once. You are exactly right. That is what we do to them during the toddler years. I want my snuggly newborn back.
I'm here. Trying to convince myself it's silly to go to bed earlier on a Friday night than I would on a night I had to work the next morning. I'm really really tired. DH is playing videogames and Fozzy is napping next to me..
Going to my mom's tomorrow and maybe taking Fozzy to the dog park. BIG weekend plans. LoL
We went to the sale at Lakota last week - we went at 1030 or so... No lines at all, and we still ended up with some good deals. There was tons of stuff left, although I have no idea how great it was earlier on.
