ds sticks his hand down the side of the mattress

does your lo do that? it's like he's holding on.  maybe it's comforting. he's always right up against the side of the crib, by the breathable bumper. last night he grabbed onto one of the bars, above the bumper. so cute.

too bad he doesn't last very long in the crib. the mattress seems too hard for him. he wakes himself up constantly when he rolls from his side to his back b/c his limbs go 'thud' on the mattress. anyone else have this problem?

    We must have the same mattress.  DS refuses to sleep in his crib.  I guess our bed is more comfy.

    My DS loves to cuddle the mattress, bumper pad, crib rails.  It is kinda sad, actually...I'd love to give him a lovely to cuddle with, but I'm still too concerned.  He is a wild sleeper!
