Back from RE

So the good news is we're down from 12 residual follicles to just 1. So she says "well, I'll look at your blood work results and then we'll see if we can start" Me: "start what". Nurse: "well if your estrogen hasn't kicked in, we can still start the follistim" Me: "Oh"

I was all ready for a natural cycle, a break from all these meds but oh well. Then I tell her that I'm still having pain during "relations" and she checks my bp, 124/89 (diastolic a little high for me) and I start telling her that it feels like I have a UTI- turns out I have a bladder infection. I suppose that is what is causing the pain. At least it saved me a trip to the PCP because she gave me a course of antibiotics. Oh well, at least I should be feeling better by tomorrow.

Good news is I am currently enjoying a lovely cup of pumpkin spice coffee. (I know SO bad for a UTI but I'm going to follow it up with a HUGE glass of cranberry juice cocktail)

ETA: Just heard from the RE. We are doing follistim starting today! Like I said I was ready for a natural cycle but it's okay, right? Just put my faith in the doctors.
