We really lucked out that my friend happens to have a daycare in her home. She only charges $5/hour or $25/day, whichever is cheapest. We just supply diapers & wipes and send in a snack for everyone to share like once a month.
$155/wk for my 21 month old and $135/wk for my 3 year old. It is cheaper since my older son is potty trained.
ETA: They go to a FT in home daycare. They eat breakfast, lunch, and two or three snacks. She is a preschool teacher as well and has instructional time (group and individual) with the three and four year olds.
Re: How much do you pay a week for daycare
Doesn't it depend on your geographic area, the type of day care (in-home, nanny, center, church, etc.)?
We go to a large-ish center and pay $195/week including two meals and two snacks. I'm in West Michigan.
We pay 350 a week in Baltimore.
We paid 107 a week in south Alabama.
Holy cost-of-living difference, batman.

Don't remind me. It's awful here.

But we get most of it back in daycare tax credit.
