Thoughts on Laci/Lacey?

I'm in LOOOOVE with the name Eve. Not Evelyn or Eva, but just Eve. However, with the rising popularity of its variations, I'm not sure I want to give my baby a really popular name. A few days ago my bff suggested Laci/Lacey, and although I've never been a fan before, it's stuck in my head. I know eventually I'll go with Eve (love it too much to let it go!!), but what do all you honest bumpers think of Lacey?

I think Lacey sounds like a stripper name. Sorry.

However, I LOVE Eve. It's my niece's name, and I think it's a beautiful name. Go for it!

One of my friends in high school was Lacey. She was not stripper material but I still don't really love the name.

Gee guys, thanks haha.  I like my name.  The only problem I ever had was sometimes when I introduce myself, I got "Tracey"??? or "Stacey"???

Don't like the name (sadly, I do agree with pp's about stripper quality).

I also think of poor Lacey Peterson. :'(

Lacey sounds sort of trashy to me if I'm honest.  Laci is even worse.  I would stick with Eve.

I went to high school with a Laci and she was definitely one of the top 5 trashiest girls in our entire school. She just completely ruins the name for me. Either way I was never a fan of it.

Eve is beautiful!

I love Lacey, but it seems almost too "smal child" to me.. I love Eve too, which I find has more class than Lacey and would age better.

 If you did eve end up using Lacey, I think the spelling "Lacey" looks pettier, and maybe less "stripper" than "Laci", haha.

I like Eve. Lacey sounds really 80s to me, and I also don't think it ages well, but if you love it I would use that spelling, not Laci or any other variation.
