Refuses to poop in toilet!!

I am in serious need of help.  I have a 3 year old that STILL refuses to poop in the toilet.  I am at my wits end!  We have tried everything and I don't know how to get through to her!  Any suggestions?!?

The only success we've had with poop is to wait for DS1 to actually start pushing and then put him on the toilet. We are just starting so I don't know if this is helpful at all but our plan is to keep doing this until he decides to poop directly in the toilet instead of his pants or the floor. GL!
