Anyone have trouble sleeping?

I just can't seem to fall into a deep sleep.  It seems like I'm day dreaming all night and I wake up feeling horrible.  I'm eating better the past few days and really thought that would help.  I hear about women falling asleep standing up in their 1st trimester and I can't even fall asleep in bed :(

Re: Anyone have trouble sleeping?

  • Exactly!  It is so frustrating!  I haven't been sleeping well for the past 2 weeks or so.....I think it's the anxiety right now so hopefully it will get better!
  • I am ususally up every morning @ 3:30 and can't fall back to sleep.

  • I have trouble sleeping becuase I get up to pee 3 times a night.  It's so annoying.  However, I drink pregnancy tea at night and it seems to help me get sleepy.  Maybe try come sleepy time tea.

  • I have been waking up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom since I got my BFP. I can't even remember the last time I slept through the night. I used to wake up at 2:30, then 1:30. Sometimes it's midnight. Lately it's been 3:00 am. I'm so tired today. I woke up last night at 1:30 and couldn't fall back to sleep till 3:30 just to wake up at 5am.

  • I'd say I've had trouble sleeping the last week or so.  For me, it has nothing to do with waking up to pee, I just keep waking up and then can't get back to sleep.  Dislike.

  • Most of the time I wake up multiple times to use the bathroom, but 2 nights ago I was up till 3am to wake up at 6am. All I wanted to do was fall asleep so I wouldn't be miserable at work the next day.If I have anything on my mind I wake up multiple times and it seems like I'm daydreaming. Another thing I noticed, I can't remember my dreams anymore. I'll only remember small fragments sometimes but not enough to put it together. :(

OH man me too!! I was up at 2:00am to pee and then I randomly woke up at 3:15 and couldnt fall back to sleep until 4:30. Needless to say waking up wasnt fun.?

  • I've been having trouble sleeping at night which is weird because I'm so exhausted that it feels like I should conk right out when I hit the bed! But nope. I'm up until at least past midnight, then up several times to pee. It's gotten to where I'm on a pee schedule now!! 1am, 3am then 5:30am. It's getting ridiculous.
  • I'm sorry you guys are all going thru this too, but I'm thankful it's common.  I'm working with one eye open and one eye closed at the moment.  Can't wait to get home tonight.  I'm going to try some sleepytime tea, but wishing they had some pregnancy ambien we could take ;)  Maybe it's our bodies prepping us for what's to come!
  • I've been waking up 2-3 times a night for at least the last couple of months. Really vivid dreams too, that seem like the daydreaming stuff others have posted about. It's actually beyond annoying and I'm exhausted and miserable all.the.time. When does this crap end? I'm so over it.

This!  Except I wake at 3AM, then end up falling back asleep around 5 AM and am ready to sleep all day and can't get out of bed when my alarm goes off at 6 AM.

  • This has been me the past few days...so aggravating!
  • I haven't slept well since I found out I was expecting - Im a strict belly sleeper - and dont' do well sleeping in ANY other position - and now that my mosquito bite boobs are HUGE, lol, thats out of the question.  My hubby works nights - but got tired of coming home to find me lying on my side on his pillow - I finally had to get one from the other room, lol.  I think the pillow has helped the most - it gives me more support, soon I hope to get a pregnancy pillow, but since I don't have a big pg belly YET - a regular pillow works.

I've been sleeping SO much better - although nothing helps the getting up to pee in the middle of the night!
