Moving to Houston

Hi everyone - my best friend and her family are relocating to Houston in a few weeks and we are throwing them a going away party.  We want to make a Houston/Texas Survival Kit.  Partially funny, partially functional. 

 

We are including things like Houston maps, a book on Texas history, a cowboy hat etc. 

 

What are some items that we could include that would be helpful or funny to someone moving to Houston?

a fan, swimsuit, hat, sunscreen, bug spray - it's hot and humid

gas money or gift card  - it's huge and we drive a lot

Texans or Astros gear, if they're into sports

That's all I can think of right now.  BTW, I LOVE St. Louis, I went to college there and still miss it.  I can't wait to visit when my little is big enough to go to the City Museum and the Science Center.

I went to Wash U.    I nannied a lot during college and always took my charges to the City Museum so I could play too.  LOL

Oh cool - I used to work there before I had my baby.  Love that campus
