zhu zhu pets?

Our DD is turning 4 tomorrow and all I've been hearing about are zhu zhu hamsters. Do any of you have them? Are they a fun toy or waste of money? TIA!

Both of my kids have one, but we don't have any accessories, just the hamsters. They're kind of silly to me, but my kids love them. They're pretty inexpensive and don't take up much space, both pluses for me

Ian has 3 of them. He really likes them. He doesnt play with them all of the time, and not enough to think that 2 were really necessary, but I would totally recommend getting one and seeing how your DC likes it

I stumbled across this on a road trip, when we stopped at cracker barrel.  My neighbor has the zuzu pet and this is way better IMO. It comes with the ball which prevents it from going under the sofa and it does not make a lot of noise.  My kids adore them.  We have two.

Last Christmas, this is all DS wanted. I thought it was weird. I waited on line all night Black Friday at TRS to get him some. (lol!) Both kids got about 4 and ALL the accessories we could find. That was last year and they still play with them to this day.

They are cute but you probably don't need all the accessories like we have. Half the time, they just like seeing them run around on the floor.
