I read that you shouldn't drive with thr carseat carrier handle in thr forward two positions...so I am confused as to what we attach the toy bar and or dangly toys to. If the handle has to be back, it isn't fwd to attach to. Tips?
I don't know why the handle has to be down, but it's easy to do so we just keep it down. And from what I've been told, dangly toys on the car seat handle can be dangerous during an accident because it can hit LO's face with some serious force.
We've got a graco snugride, so a pretty common one and the manual says handles down. I just thought there were ways to have toys/visible stimulants for LO to look at while traveling....but now it seems like not. Hrmmm
Infant seats actually flip upward toward the seat, creating a pod to protect the baby from other objects that might fly around during an accident. By keeping the handle up, you would prevent that from happening.
And those toys and mirrors are possible flying objects that could hurt LO anyway.
Re: Infant carrier question
What the cop who inspected our carseat told me:
