This is weird...

My jaw hurts and has for the past 2 days.  The only thing I can think it would be is from getting sick.  Its the strangest feeling in the world.  Right at the jaw socket on one side feels like someone punched me.

Plus, I get a splitting headache every morning right behind one eye after getting sick.  I try to wait it out because I don't want to take a tylenol every morning, but its getting old fast.

 Anyone else noticing these things?

  • The jaw pain, especially on one side near the socket, happens to me either when I have an ear/sinus infection or inflamed gums around my wisdom teeth. If you've been sick, it could be an ear/sinus infection. The pain behind the eye could also be related to sinus infection.

  • They're on opposite sides though.  Its my left jaw socket and right eye.  I haven't been sick (other than m/s) and I don't grind my teeth (unless I've started since I got pg).  If it doens't go away in a couple days, I'm going to ask my doctor about it.

  • My left jaw has bothered me for the past 3 weeks or so. It's weird. But I think it's stress or something, because I can even feel the muscle in a knot.

That may be what yours is too... stress, even if you don't know it.

Or, it could be the seasons changing.

(Sorry to not be any help whatsoever.)

  • I am also having pain in my jaw.  It started on the left and then that went away and now my right side is sore.  I think mine is from clenching my jaw at night.

I'd say this, or something similar...I sometimes sleep with my teeth clenched, and I can feel it in my jaw, face muscles and temples all the next day.
