GMD prefolds ?

For those of you who cloth diapered your newborn, were you able to use the yellow edge prefolds right away?  If not, what age/weight did you move from the orange edge to the yellow edge?  TIA!

We used orange at first, and were able to use them until he was probably 3-3.5 months old?  I think he would have been about 11 or so pounds at that point, he's only 12lb now

Yes, we were able to use yellow right away.  Orange fit much better, but yellow was fine.  We have 12 orange-edge and 18 yellow-edge and will use both for the nb stage again this time.

We used orange GMDs regularly for the first 2.5-3 months.  I still use them now as inserts for my pockets.  E was 7lbs 6oz at birth and was 11lbs at her 2 month.
