hey ladies,
ok so dh and i have had trouble with swaddling. we are just not good at it, and it's also very hard in nicu with all the cords and everything. however, was wondering if any of you used the swaddle blankets that velco or whatever and swaddle for you.. did they work well? we were looking into getting some..
tia!
Re: swaddling..
No real experience here, but I keep hearing about the miracle blankets. I think I'm going to try a combo of them and the sleep sacs with wings and see what works best.
We used the velcro swaddlemes for A (H had no issues being de-swaddled after he was too big for the blankets). A is still in it right now as I type sleeping away.

Ditto. I think MBs would be a PITA in the NICU, but I prefer them later on. A swaddleme or something would be easier with all the wires and work well early on.
We would have lost our minds by now if not for the sleep saks/swaddle me's, and miracle blankets. Our babies are little Houdinis and would bust out of anything not velcroed down. Go stock up - you'll be so grateful you did and your kids will sleep so much longer without waking themselves up
Miracle blankets are worth every penny.
Also Aden & Anais blankets are worth every penny. They're huge and work well as they are older.
