yes; the idea that its supposed to take 15 minutes to get to the surface is just mind-boggling to me. I cannot imagine what's going on in their minds. I am just praying for a really strong cable--that rescue contraption looks like a 7th grade science project--it's amazing!
It sure was! Although now I feel bad for them on a whole different level. They can't even just go home to be with their family and the media is going to bug them forever!
I know they need to be medically evaluated but I think I would just want to be left alone (with my family of course).
Am I the only one who is so excited but also wondering, on a scale of 1-1000, how high is the stink factor of these guys? 1001?
P U!
DH and I were talking about that tonight - like where are they putting the poo?
Pretty sure I read somewhere there was actually a pipe of sorts that they basically were able to use as a toilet. But also, they were like running laps down there (they sent smokers 1/2 mile down a tunnel to let them have a smoke about halfway through the ordeal), so it's not like they slept on top of each other I don't think. But, of course they probably didn't have much in the way of a shower Although, they look fairly shaven as they come up, so they obviously were provided toiletries and maybe could wipe off? I'm sure a shower is first thing on the list!
Re: Is anyone watcing the mine rescue?
