I recovered mine. It's not perfect but it works for me. I took the existing cover off and traced around the foam. I added half the depth of the foam to my existing tracing plus 1/2 inch seam allowance. I did this for the chair back, chair seat, and ottoman. I also used velcro on the bottom seams of the chair back, and chair seat. The ottoman was done in 3 pieces, one for the top and two halves on the bottom so I could make it easy to take on and off to clean. I went to the fabric store and found some plushy soft fabric to use.

I don't sew, so I had someone else make new cushions for me. I used www.cozycushions.com and they were fantastic. it wasn't inexpensive, I think I paid around $160 to get all the cushions made (seat back, seat, arm pieces and ottoman), but it was still cheaper than buying a new glider and ottoman (my glider/ottoman was a hand-me-down from my sister) and I love how it turned out. (please excuse the crappy camera phone pic of the "after")

That's adorable! My mom tried to make me take her glider home with me the day we announced we were pregnant at her house, lol. I always wondered if it could be recovered because the cushions now are hideous (sorry mom). I will save this link for when I need it again

LOL. thanks! Did you see the cushions in my "before" photo? That photo doesn't really do justice as to how hideous they really were. They had a really old-fashioned looking "Noah's Ark" print on it. So not cute. My sister and I have totally different tastes... plus she bought it like 11 years ago so I suppose styles have changed. (thank God!)

First of all I love the stitches collection - if it's a girl I will go that route - maybe I can try to recover our chair with fabrics from the collection (either the sheets or the fleece blanket....hmm)
The polka dotted look is AWESOME - it's a great POP!!
